Mom comes to town!

We had an amazing time. Here are pictures. In no particular order: post-performance smiling, Mom laughing, and Pete assembling the charcoal grill! (note the playoff beard, as the redwings have advanced to the next round of the stanley cup playoffs...) Woo hoo! Also: forget-me-nots in the yard, and some assorted tulips! Hope you're all having a great time out in Oregon! It's awesome you're all together! Take lots of pics and post them! Wooo!

Glad to see spring has finally landed in the Great Northeastern colony. And what better way to celebrate spring than with a new grill full of smoking meat! We are looking forward to the landing of The Mothership on Tuesday. Trips through the hop fields are planned as well as a few breweries and wineries. The season upon us now is just between tulips and roses which means iris. One of these days we have to get the Northeastern out here for hop harvest.
Oh! We would so love to tour the breweries, wineries, and hop fields!! I bet we could write that trip off on our taxes, too! Bonus!
I'm so happy some of the Weinmeister clan are getting together. Pete and I will make it out west one of these days! I've never been up Washington/Oregon way, so I'm due...
Mmm...Iris! Ours are buds now, so hopefully we'll have them blooming soon!
Fun times to all! xoxo
I hope you understand you have been granted a "free pass" anytime you need a Pacific Northwest experiance. We have music, arts, hops, and vines in abundance otherwise winter would kill us.
